Locus: around Mindourou, South-East Cameroon
This project aimed at giving more visibility for the CoForTips project and using participatory photography with the locals of the villages around Mindourou. For a month Arnaud followed the scientists and students of the project and interacted with villagers.
The result was an interactive exhibition at the ATBC conference in Montpellier during which we collectively debated contextualisation in the representation of people in the field. The exhibition was then presented at the French Cultural Institute in Yaoundé and Arnaud went back to the villages to give prints to the locals. Later on the exhibition was shown in Perpignan, France.

Locus: autour de Mindourou, sud-est du Cameroun, dans les villages de Mindourou, Ampel, Mee, Djolempoum…
Ce projet avait pour but de donner de la visibilité dans et hors sphère académique pour le projet CoForTips ainsi que de travailler de manière participative à une meilleure représentation des populations locales. Pendant un mois Arnaud a accompagné les chercheurs et étudiants du projet et a interagi avec les habitants de villages autour de Mindourou.
Le résultat principal a été mis sous la forme d’une exposition interactive lors de la conférence ATBC à Montpellier durant laquelle nous avons débattu de la contextualisation en photographie de terrain. Cette exposition a ensuite été présentée à l’Institut Français du Cameroun à Yaoundé et Arnaud est retourné dans les villages pour donner des tirages aux habitants. Plus tard certaines photographies ont été exposées à Perpignan.
